TEIN pillowball (spherical bearing) upper mount is designed for each individual model of the vehicle. By remaining the positioning design of upper spring and shock absorber close to manufacturers standards. TEIN pillowball upper mount keeps height change to the minimum and maintains the stroke center.
TEIN Pillowball upper mounts are designed to offer greater feed back by eliminating the deflection in OEM rubber bushings. A NWB spherical bearing is used in place of the rubber bushing, which allows for improved tire grip and more accurate wheel alignment. In vehicles with front strut type suspension, an adjustable camber plate is incorporated into the upper mount. Degrees of adjustment will range depending on application.

- The rubber bushing is replaced with a pillow ball which eliminates the load input compliance, reduces the change of alignment to improve the grip of the tire
- Ultra duralumin A2017S-T4 (aircraft material) is used for upper seats and adjusting plates with anodized aluminum to have maximum strength and durability
- For the Mcpherson strut suspension(only for front) models, the camber angle is adjustable. This creates wide varieties of different suspension settings according to the road and tire conditions
- High tension material S45C is used for serration bolts. As it is already inserted with high press, installation time has been completely reduced. With the original long bolt design, it can be easily mounted and gives enough thread for the strut tower bar to be fitted
Inspection
Buyer shall inspect and reconcile all inbound shipments from HKSportperformance.com within three (3) Calendar days. Claims for shortages or damaged merchandise must be submitted to HKSportperformance.com no more than seven (7) Calendar days following Buyer's receipt of shipment.
Returns and Exchanges of Merchandise
A Returned Merchandise Authorization ("RMA") form must be filled out by the Buyer and Approved by HKSportperformance.com. Without an RMA issued and approved by HKSportperformance.com, Return shipments will be refused and sent back to sender at their expense.
Defective and freight damaged merchandise (only where HKSportperformance.com is providing shipment) may be returned to HKSportperformance.com for store credit, but only upon verification by HKSportperformance.com of such defect or damage. Credit will be issued to Buyer upon receipt of the RMA form and the claim approval from the freight company involved, No exceptions.
Returns of good merchandise may be accepted by HKSportperformance.com in its sole discretion under the following conditions:
Return/Exchange of merchandise in 100% Perfect and re-saleable condition, without markings on the original packaging will be restricted to extraordinary circumstances with prior approval from HKSportperformance.com. Accepted return will be assessed a 25% restocking charge. Returned parts shall not exceed 15% of total annual purchase quantities.
Return/Exchange of merchandise in packaging that has been marked, relabeled or otherwise defaced will be restricted to extraordinary circumstances with prior approval from HKSportperformance.com. Accepted returns will be assessed a 40% restocking charge. Returned parts shall not exceed 15% of total annual purchase quantities.
Merchandise classified by HKSportperformance.com as TB (To Be Discontinued), or DC (Discontinued), may not be returned for credit and are sold as is.
Merchandise on sales promotion or special order packages may not be returned for credit.
All return transportation charges are the responsibility of the buyer and will not be refunded for any reason.
Returns/Exchanges will not be accepted under any circumstances after 15 calendar days after the ship date indicated by HKSportperformance.com.
Any returns for product quality issues will require high resolution digital pictures of the products to be emailed to the account manager before an RMA is approved.
Order cancellations will take up to 72 hours after a cancellation is requested before the order is officially cancelled and money processed for return.
